Cornerstone

Cornerstone is a day program for adults who need more assistance with their daily life. The Program is located in Wolfville. People attend Cornerstone live in our homes but also some folks live with their family and travel in each day to Cornerstone. The program operates from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm with an early closing day on Wednesday. People at Cornerstone are pretty busy with activities, including exercise, baking, day trips, walks, physiotherapy, swimming, personal care, crafts, music therapy, bowling, horseback riding, planning and hosting celebrations, snoezelen room (on site). The program has the use of a wheelchair van each day so people can get out and about easily. All places at Cornerstone are funded through the Department of Community Services. When spaces become available at Cornerstone we work together with the DCS Care Coordinator to fill the space. If you are interested in being part of Cornerstone someday please contact Ingrid at director@larchehomefires.org
