Applewicks

Applewicks is a fun place to volunteer. The program operates Monday to Friday, so it is great if you available during the day. You can learn a lot about Applewicks on this web page. We create beautiful candles, weaving, and other craft items. As a volunteer you are not expected to come with weaving or candle making skills though! Volunteers may help us out by doing some sewing, making lunch, helping with some crafts (which we will teach you!), putting the finishing touches to woven products, helping with end of day clean up, helping out in the store etc. As with all L’Arche programs, we want to get to know you and we look forward to you getting to know us. If you have particular gifts such as music, photography, drama etc we will be happy to find a way for you to share these with us.
