Cornerstone

If you are looking for a unique place to volunteer, Cornerstone is the place for you. The program operates Monday to Friday, so it is great if you available during the day. Cornerstone program supports five wonderful people who enjoy a wide variety of activities in the day. This is the most visible group in our community as they are always on the go or else they are planning a celebration of some sort! As a volunteer you might find yourself going for a walk with someone, reading to a person, participating in dance activities and music activities. You could also help with cooking / baking or maybe learn how to do simple exercises. Some people like to have their hair and make up done or to have a hand or foot massage. As a volunteer you may be asked to help with crafts or to go with the group on a day trip. People regularly go bowling, horseback riding day trips to the movies etc. If you are an artist or a musician and are willing to share these gifts with us that also would be great.
