Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Feature
Word spread quickly that we are helping to change the way business is done in Wolfville. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) reached out to ask if we would be interested in an interview about this initiative. Of course, we said yes! A camera crew and interviewer visited us and spoke with a Core Member and an office team member about the project’s evolution and the importance of the work we are doing.
Wolfville Business Development Corporation Support
Our friend Anna led a social media project with the Social Media Manager at the Wolfville Business Development Corporation (WBDC). The results of their collaboration and hard work are four social media videos that welcome you into our programs building and highlight our three workshops. Enjoy! :)

Special Olympics Team Wins Big
The Kings County basketball team, featuring some of our very own Core Members, is representing Team Nova Scotia at the Special Olympics nationals! We are so proud of our athletes. They will be heading to Alberta to compete in August 2026.
Fantasy Photoshoot
A group of super creative people reached out to us out of the blue and asked if we would be interested in participating in a fantasy-themed photoshoot. We couldn’t pass up such a fun opportunity and had an incredible day modeling!
A huge thank you to Victoria Martin for planning and styling; to @onedayaffair for design, florals, and décor; to @photosby.devyn and @chellewoottenphoto for photography; and to @melhiltz for hair.

Vacation Trips
We did a lot of travelling this year. Our most notable trips were a trip to Edmonton (Nonie, Laura and friends) and Prince Edward Island (Steven, Douglas and friends).

Accessibility Photoshoot
A number of folks from our community participated in photoshoots throughout Wolfville for the province’s reports on accessibility. We were thrilled to see several of our own featured on the cover of the Minister’s Annual Report, throughout the publication, and in the government’s 2025–2028 accessibility plan.

Bottle Drive and BBQ
We canvassed around town and set up in Wolfville’s Clock Park to collect refundables and sell hotdogs. In total, we raised $2,296 for our community fund. Thank you to the local RBC branch for supporting our event, and to everyone who came out with a bag of bottles and a hungry belly!
